side effects of its own when some of their mixture gets into a used
petri dish. What bubbles up is the key to the past and the creation of

REVIEWS
"If you are a fan of a good story, but also want action
and adventure you won't want to miss reading "Code
47 to BREV Force," a contemporary book filled with
futuristic intrigue and excitement. The plot will
keep you "glued" to each page, while the
plausibility of the characters and events will
reflect heroes that you can really relate to: A
family like yours or mine, sibling college students,
trying to deal with the world as it spirals down
around them, while their parent's try to deal with
their growing up. The reader gets a front row
view of this family; getting involved in their
lives, their strengths and weaknesses, which we can
all relate to. Additionally, the "twists and
turns" of the story create the need for the
evolution of the characters to become BREV Force.
Their plight will keep you rooting for each
one of them." .....B. Jensen
"Code 47 to
BREV Force, comes together as each family member takes a role in
fighting against a technological error gone berserk, the creation of
holograms, illegal cloning and more." ....Linda, Plainview N.Y.
"Code 47 to BREV Force, caters to the literary needs, and
enjoyment, of young and old, alike. Set as a trilogy, each
book, will leave you completely satisfied, and wanting more!...Paula

"This book is Amazing!
In Code 47 to Brev Force, a sentient being has come
to take over both computers and people. Scientists
Vivian and Martin Kane are hired to destroy what
everyone thinks is a computer virus.
I am going to have to get
the next book. They leave you with a bit of a cliff
hanger to make you want to read the next book, and
well it worked. I'm afraid to say too much about
this book because I don't want to give it all away,
but it's good! It starts in a way that leaves you
with questions, but by the end those questions are
answered and more answers are waiting, I'm sure in
the next book." ...Renee Franklin

"I have not read any of F Barish-Stern books
before and I have to say this author has a good
imagination. This story will pull in just about
anyone who loves to be lost in a good story line.
This is about a family who's
life gets turned upside down by various events, from
lab experiments being contaminated to sentient life
on a computer. It has all the elements, love,
adventure, science, family, corruption, you name it.
The adventure follows the family from the start when
the mother and father were young and had met and
fallen in love. They were very bright stars of the
scientific community and progressed well in their
chosen field much to the admiration of their piers.
They were well respected and enjoyed life with their
twin son and daughter. A new job moves them from
California to a town called Island Falls where they
set up home and the mystery starts to unravel.
The parents have been engaged
by the I.A.S (International Alliance of Scientists)
to try and find a way to stop a dangerous faction
called the Controller that seemed to be causing
trouble in the local area. Powers that be believe it
to be some sort of a computer sentient being and
were scared that it was a danger to society and
wanted a way to eradicate it. Already the
Controllers influence was being felt at the local
campus with students acting out of character and
getting hooked on a strange candy.
The twins start to notice a
change in one of their close friends and decide to
take things into their own hands by stealing one of
their parents experiments which may possibly enhance
physic abilities. One night they sneak into the lab
but during the process they get caught and
accidently damage and contaminate an experiment
which causes a reaction no one could have expected.
Things unfold and slowly they
form a plan of action that changes their lives in
more ways than one.
This is only the first book
and I bet the kids will love it. Can't wait to find
out what happens next.
If your like me, I found this
story easy reading and enjoyed the journey."

"This is the
first book i have read by F. Barish-Stern and i have
to say i will be reading another. I am an avid
reader and am constantly looking for new and
interesting books to read. I read the description to
this book and thought i would give it a try also the
cover piqued my interest as it was very
unusual/different. The book drew me in on the very
first page and since then i couldn't put it down, i
was wanting to know what happened next and looked
forward to picking up where i left off.
The book is very well written and shows a lot of
imagination, the author really knows how to capture
your interest and make you want more. The characters
are brilliant and i love the strong bong the family
holds withing the story especially between the
siblings. I love the descriptive writing of the
world they live in set in the future, it makes you
picture how you yourself would live with the
technology they have.
Fantastic read, the type of book i would re-read
again, i highly recommend giving this story a read
you will enjoy it a lot just like i have done!"

"This was an interesting story and one that was
full of adventure and imagination. I was impressed
by the storyline and how it all played out. I found
myself engaged in the story from beginning to end,
and thought it might be a good book to share with my
kids.
I felt the characters were
well developed, and belieavable. I think kids would
be able to relate to it well. And I felt the word
use was good. It was done in a scientific manner,
providing deetails that tied in with the story and
made it seem more realistic and relevant. Sometimes
you have stories that have a more sci-fi type of
premise, but the authors don't tie in the correct
verbiage to make the scenarios plausible, if they
are even remotely believable to begin with. But I
thought she did a decent job of doing the opposite,
using the wording and setting that would make it not
only realistic, but interesting and exciting.
I did find myself distracted
quite a bit though. From the book descriptions
online, both on Amazon and Goodreads, I felt there
were many grammatical and mechanics errors. Not only
was there improper word useage at times, but the
lack of spacing and correct punctuation made it a
challenge to read. I believe the book would be far
better if the author secured the expertise of a good
editor to help smooth it out and make the
readability better.
But nonetheless, I do feel it
was a good story. Interesting plot, engaging
characters, and a good read overall."

"Pros: I found this story to be fast moving and
hard to put down. I was anxious to know what would
happen next and finished it quickly. Appreciated the
strong family relationships portrayed.
Cons: As a conservative reader
with high moral standards, I did not like the swear
words or the explicit content & therefore rated it
only as 4 stars.."

Read EXCERPTS
"ALERT - Intruder, Security Breach Sector Three,” Shrill alarms
were sounding throughout the facility.
Rosie advised, “Full security
procedures activated.”
“Switch all overhead screens to full
perimeter scan. Give me visual and audio on Monitor One and lock
into the command post,” Martin ordered.
Captain Edderly’s image appeared on
the monitor. “What’s the situation Jack?”
“We’ve gone to Stage One Alert.
No visuals yet, Sir, but we have initiated full security
protocol.”
Martin inquired, “Has the compound
been totally sealed off, yet?
“The interior guards should be
approaching Sector Three right now. Stand-by.”
After a moment Edderly responded,
“Yes Sir. We’ve established an all perimeter security
lock-down....”
EXCERPT About
"Genetic Markers"
"Martin knew the dangers of cloning experiments, first hand, “What
got out of hand? He demanded!
“Genetic markers, were not properly
identified, but were used, anyway. Not just for cell
identification, but to altar cell composition and duplication.
You see, the scientist was working from different sources of
notes, and didn’t correlate them correctly.”
There was a desperate cry in the
voice, “Do you understand what I am saying Dr. Kane?” The
voice didn’t wait for an answer, “The scientist ignored all the
signs and went to the next step anyway, and then continued on to
the ultimate final step; to create a super human..."
EXCERPT About "Enter
Controller"
“Now that I think about it, maybe
Controller has already landed in IsIand Falls.”
“Well, if you were in that class
today, you would be sure! It was like something out of
those old science fiction movies Dad loves to view.”
Brad started to hum, “Do, do, do, do...’The Twilight Zone’...”
that was an old television program only available now on memory
disks,
that delved into the weirdest science fiction stuff.
“Oh, great! ‘Twilight Zone?’ Thanks! Make me more nervous. You
know I get scared out of mind when you view those!”
To get
away from her thoughts, Evie
concentrated on the water streaming over the window.
That
wasn’t helping and she finally decided to ask, “Brad, what if
you’re right?”
“About ‘The Twilight Zone?’”
“No, you goof,” she laughed, “about
Controller?"...
EXCERPT When "CRACKO
Meets BREV"
Dove saw her approaching with the hypodermic and easily knocked it
from Sheila's hand.
Believing she had outsmarted Dove, Sheila reached for the second
hypo, but Dove was faster and grabbed Sheila’s arm. They

EXCERPT About "Jonathan and Evie"
"Jonathan arrived fifteen minutes late, and without apologizing, he
grabbed her hand and led her down a path, through a dense row of
maple trees. When they were far enough away from campus, to be
assured of privacy, Jonathan stopped; threw his new genuine leather
jacket on the ground, directing her to sit down.
He snuggled up next to her and started to jabber something, but
she stopped him cold with a long, sensuous kiss...."
